Rob Dyrdek Fantasy Factory

10+ Years ago MTV did an Action Sports and Music Fest which featured a skateboard contest.  Back then, it really made no sense as to why MTV was getting "extreme".  However, they did host one of the best street contests ever (sort of).

It was actually a street course with real street obstacles.  The best part was that at the end of your timed 60 second run you could keep skating.  The reason you could keep skating was because they would release a cop onto the course.  You could keep skating as long as you avoided the cop.

Anyway, it must not have been watched by too many people or it may not have been MTV since no videos of it exist on YouTube.

This January, MTV is about to launch another show called Fantasy Factory with Rob Dyrdek.  There is a video tour of Fantasy Factory on the DC Site and a video some kid just upload to YouTube asking Rob about his new show and if they can skate it.  You can also view some updates on Rob Dyrdek's MySpace Page.  Or if you  just want some skate history view some old Rob Video parts on Dyrdek.com
